In round one, two organisations were successful with their bids for Docman Hub, the innovative electronic clinical correspondence solution utilised by 100 NHS Trusts. The solution delivers significant cost and time savings for Trusts and Practices. Bidders were also successful in applications for Docman RMS to digitise and streamline their Trusts referral process.
The NHS England Safer Hospitals Safer Wards Technology fund (Tech Fund 2) is now open for a second round of applications.
If your organisation is looking to become paperless and is considering applying for the second round of the Tech Fund, please contact us to discuss your plan by email to sales@docman.com or telephone 01977 66 44 96.
Electronic Document Management
Trusts have utilised Docman’s referral management system to quickly capture incoming referrals from any source, providing a platform to capture, file, workflow and electronically track every incoming referral. Docman RMS was recognised for excellence in the HSJ Efficiency Awards.
Interoperability
Trusts utilise Docman Hub to transfer clinical correspondence electronically to GP Practices, driving significant time and cost savings. Practices receive these letters directly into Docman’s intuitive workflow, benefiting from auto-patient matching, pre-populated filing fields and reduced scanning. Over 100 NHS Trusts have taken the Docman Hub route to drive process efficiencies, deliver better patient care and drive cash releasing savings by transferring letters electronically.
Collaboration
Docman’s Community Collaborator is being utilised across the health economy to support Multi-Disciplinary (CMDT) teams in a practical approach to ‘real-time’ information sharing and collaboration. This enables clinicians and carers to have the right information at the right time to deliver the best possible patient care.
