PCTI, the supplier of Docman, is pleased to celebrate the 6000th practice to join Docman the complete electronic management, workflow and collaboration solution.
Norwood Medical Centre in Cumbria is named as the 6,000th practice to join Docman. The practice had the solution installed in February 2013 and following their training and consultancy will go live in the Spring. The practice will use Docman with their EMIS Web clinical system, joining over 1,170 GP practices using Docman with the new EMIS Web clinical system.
Caroline Lee, Managing Partner, Norwood Medical Centre “We are really looking forward to going live with Docman not only for the time savings to our GPs and administration team but to improve data quality and patient safety. A local practice recommended Docman to us about a year ago, since then we have heard so much about Docman across Cumbria so we can’t wait to get the system up and running.”
Ric Thompson, Managing Director, PCTI “We are delighted to celebrate Norwood Medical Centre as the 6,000th GP practice to join Docman. In Cumbria more than 50% of the practices already benefit from Docman to support their strategy for streamlining the information flows and assisting a paper free health care.”
“When a practice starts using Docman they quickly see the time savings which can be as much as 7 hours of staff time saved per day. Utilising the Intellisense clinical content recognition system or by receiving documents electronically into Docman, practices can effortlessly process their clinical letters with the knowledge their data is secure and audited.”
PCTI is currently piloting the EDT Hub in Cumbria to facilitate the electronic transfer of clinical letters to practices using Docman, supporting the strategy for paper free care and connect-all.
