‘Connecting all through electronic document transfer, NHS Salford’s experience’
Also at the event Dan Alexander, IT Project Manager from Salford PCT will be presenting their electronic document transfer project using EDT Hub. The presentation ‘Connecting all through electronic document transfer, NHS Salford’s experience’ is a free session as part of the Best Practice Showcase Theatre and will take place 1100 – 1125, Tuesday 8th November.
NHS Salford and Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust have deployed an electronic document transfer solution to deliver documents to more than 50 GP practices. The trust sends discharge summaries using PCTI’s EDT Hub and will use the solution to send all clinical documents; or around 800,000 documents a year. This session will showcase both the trust and PCT perspectives in moving from paper to electronic correspondence and discuss the project’s objectives and outcomes in creating a joined-up, end-to-end workflow solution.
Docman in Primary Care
PCTI, the electronic document management, messaging and workflow solutions provider will be unveiling Docman Collaborator at EHI Live, 2011. The solution will provide collaboration and content management tools for organisations to share, manage and work together on information and documents.
Docman BackOffice will also be showcased at the event. The solution provides an intranet and content management solution that facilitates collaborative working, knowledge management and business process management for busy healthcare organisations.
